It was a great set of races and we all had a lot of fun despite what Mother Nature handed us in the second race of the series. In our first race, Matthew Laframboise of Saratoga Springs was the first male across the line with a time of 18:57 and the first female across the line was Megan James of Charlton with a time of 28:02. In week two of the series, Mother Nature won with a record-breaking time of "see you next week." The heavy rain made the course too dangerous to run, even the fields were under water. We chose safety and sense to cancel this week’s race. The third and final race of the series was also part of the HMRRC 2024 Grand Prix series. Matthew Laframboise of Saratoga was once again the first male across the line with an impressive time of 17:40 and Meghan Mortensen of Glenville was the first female across the line with an equally impressive time of 24:39. Thank you to everyone who showed up to run and a special thank you to those who showed up to help! Enjoy the fall, winter, and spring races and we are looking forward to summer trail racing again next year!
