Irish Luck Rained Down on the Runnin’ of the Green Day

After a two-year hiatus, the Runnin’ of the Green returned, and luck was with the runners because the forecasted downpour never materialized, and the racers clocked good times.  The ladies from Willow Street and the ARE women’s team had impressive finishes that brightened the race.

Brian and Jessica Northan are the race directors.  Race directors have tons of work to do before, during, and after the race.  With the preparations done, race cones placed strategically, the finish line set up, and volunteers in place, Bryan then stayed outside monitoring race stats with a new IT program he developed while Jessica was inside helping to dole out boxes of pizza to the finishers along with other refreshments.
