Come Run in 2021 Road Mile

February 6, 2021

What first comes to your mind when you think of the phrase “one mile race?” Short? Fast? Pain? All of the above? To kick off 2021 right, Nark Running & Strength and ARE teamed up to put on the Come Run in 2021 Road Mile race. The competition was fast and fierce, with runners from 10 to 63 years old laying it out on the line and giving it their all.

Brave the Blizzard

February 13, 2021

When winter gives you snow, runners get snowshoeing. ARE put on its 17th annual Brave the Blizzard snowshoe race in Tawasentha Park. Racers were met with frigid temps, bright sunny skies, and a very energetic Frosty the Snowman. Check out all the photos on Facebook and here’s what a few people had to say about the race!

Great race today, as usual! Thanks to all who stood out in the cold to get us all to the finish line. Today was Maisie's first race (since birth) and my first time on snow shoes. We had a great time... ok, she slept through most of it, but I had fun!

Brave the Blizzard 5K Snowshoe Race. What a fun morning trying snowshoeing for the 1st time. @albany.running.exchange did an amazing job creating an event that followed all CDC guidelines and got us moving. Thank you Josh and all volunteers for a great event.

Kicking off the 2021 race season with the Brave the Blizzard 5K Snowshoe Race ❄ I asked Frosty for a jumping pic... there was a little confusion when I attempted to count us down
