HMRRC’s financial situation is sound. We have both significant financial assets, and the procedures and systems in place to safeguard them.
At the close of 2016, we had approximately $400,000 in cash in five accounts at SEFCU. We have two checking accounts (a general account and a race account), and three savings accounts. (SEFCU sets up a saving account in conjunction with each checking account, so two of those savings accounts are largely dormant.) The third savings account pays a slightly higher interest rate and is where most of our savings are held. for full article, click here

The Mohawk-Hudson River Marathon and Hannaford Half Marathon need volunteers on street corners, handling baggage and helping in the finish area, to mention a few assignments. Most are on race day, October 8th, 2017. This event stretches from Schenectady to Albany, and we need volunteers to keep the runners safe all along the way. If you are not running, consider volunteering. If you are, ask your family to help and they will get to see you along the way! We would love to have you help! Sign up HERE. Questions? The online Pace Setter is looking for a new Advertising Coordinator. The Advertising Coordinator is responsible for soliciting, collecting, and organizing advertisements for the HMRRC website. Advertisers include race directors, local businesses, and community partners.
Duties include:
• Working closely with the Publishing Editor and Web Page Editor to ensure correct ads are posted at the correct time.
• Reaching out to previous advertisers and potential advertisers to remind them of submission deadlines.
• Creating and sending out electronic invoices to advertisers.
Time commitment: approximately 3 hours per month.
