1- Kari Traa, an Olympic skier from Norway who won medals including gold in the moguls event, has designed winter sports clothes for women only that are beautiful and practical. Pictured is an insulated wind and waterproof jacket with a merino wool base layer and hat in a Nordic design.

2 & 3- Craft is also a European based company that makes outdoor apparel for running and skiing with warm base layers, windproof fabric with flat lock seams that follow body movements. It is body mapped so fabric has different densities to account for sweating and areas that need more warmth. The women’s clothing is heavier because women tend to get colder than men. The clothing is designed to be extremely reflective for high visibility.

4-Janji clothing- The pictured top is fully wind proof and has an attachment at the bottom of the sleeve that can be used as a mitten. Janji is unique in that it gives 10% of all profits to clean water projects around the globe.

6. An array of wonderful winter hats with reflective band. Some are made of merino wool and others synthetic fabric for those with wool allergies. The Buff headwear has Gore Windstopper material that is lightweight, fast drying and colorful.

8. Garmin watches that give massive data essential for running from heart rate to distance covered to pace to calories burned and too lots more!!!

9. These cool shades are specially designed for runners and not expensive. They don’t slip or bounce and are ultra polarized.

5- Windproof boxer shorts that are warm, with a Gortex cover in the front, lightweight, fast drying and squelches odor. Company states, “Stand up to any cold front without a cold front.”
