Planning for the 42nd running of the Stockadeathon (Sunday, November 12) is well underway. Brian and Jessica Northan, fresh off directing the Runnin’ of the Green in March, will join Ray Newkirk, Ed Neiles, and Jon Rocco as race directors. Race sponsors MVP Healthcare, Fleet Feet, and the Schenectady Y will continue their participation, as will the majority of the race’s 2016 coordinators. continued

The online Pace Setter is looking for a new Advertising Coordinator. The Advertising Coordinator is responsible for soliciting, collecting, and organizing advertisements for the HMRRC website. Advertisers include race directors, local businesses, and community partners.
Duties include:
• Working closely with the Publishing Editor and Web Page Editor to ensure correct ads are posted at the correct time.
• Reaching out to previous advertisers and potential advertisers to remind them of submission deadlines.
• Creating and sending out electronic invoices to advertisers.
Time commitment: approximately 3 hours per month.

On Thursday, May 18, Albany came alive when the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge took place in the largest annual road race in the Capital Region. There were a riot of color as thousands of runners, walkers, volunteers, organizers and spectators gathered for the 3.5 mile race that started and ended in front of the New York State Museum. Many colorful tents representing teams and race officials lined the Empire State Plaza with participants wearing personally designed team t-shirts .... continued
